The Float
Step 1: Arrive and settle in
**If this is your first visit to our facilities you must arrive 15 minutes early.**
Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by our welcoming staff and guided to your private float suite. Suites are supplied with various amenities including a private shower, unscented body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and fresh linens. First time guests are provided a detailed intake describing the facilities, amenities and service.
We suggest you limit your caffeine intake before your float. Caffeine is a stimulant and will impact your ability to relax.
Don't shave or wax before your float. It will sting!
Eat a small meal 1-2 hours before your float. It's hard to relax on a very full or empty stomach.
Please refrain from smoking cigarettes prior to your visit. If you arrive with a strong odor of cigarette smoke, we may refuse service, and you will be charged as if you were a no-show, in accordance with our cancellation policy.
Step 2: Pre-float shower
Before entering the float tank, put in your earplugs and take a lukewarm shower to cleanse your body of oils and impurities using the provided unscented body wash, shampoo, conditioner.
You must shower thoroughly, using the provided unscented products, immediately before entering the float chamber and have washed away
all sweat, dirt, oils, creams, makeup, etc. on your body or hair. You may not use scented products that you brought from home for showering.
This step enhances the cleanliness of the float environment and prepares your body for relaxation. This also ensures a sensory neutral experience for you and all the clients following you.
Step 3: Enter the float tank
Gently step into the float tank filled with a solution of Epsom salts and water, heated to skin temperature. Lie back and allow yourself to float effortlessly, free from external stimuli. You can customize your experience with options for having the lid open or closed, lighting and music, or embrace complete silence and darkness.
When entering or exiting the float tank you need to conduct yourself with care and intention to maintain the level of float solution in the tanks. If gallons of the float solution are expelled from the tank because of your lack of care, you will be responsible for paying an extra fee for cleaning and replacement of the float solution starting at $100 per incident.
Step 4: Post-float transition
At the end of your session, the lights slowly come on and the end of float track indicates 3 minutes left in your float. This is your cue to exit the tank slowly and take another shower to rinse off the salt solution. Take a moment in our lounge area to reflect and reorient before returning to your day. Have some tea or water with us and bask in your post-float glow.
